Currently there are approximately 175 licensed charter boats in Destin. The Destin Harbor is the home to 110 of these charter boats. Destin Angler Charters provides 45 charter boats that we feel are the best of the best.

In choosing a charter boat they must be consistent in all areas, not only catching fish. The owner and crew must be polite, friendly and professional with years of knowledge and experience. They must take pride in maintaining their boat for dependability and cleanliness. Our philosophy is, "If they do not care about their own boat why would they care about you"? They must be equipped with state of the art technology, air conditioning and have clean restrooms. Stereos and TV's are also available on some boats, these items are not as important, after all you can watch TV anytime, but how often are you steps away from world class fishing?

As a charter service we feel it is important and it is our duty to report and inform you, our customers, of the facts. Whether the fishing is fantastic or slow. Which boats the fishing has been consistently slow for, while at the same time, which boats the fishing has been consistently better for. Weather conditions are also a huge factor while fuel controls the base rates per hour that have forced boat owners to raise their rates.
